A Little Bit About Farmington Valley and Our Annual Campaign...

The Farmington Valley YMCA is part of the Greater Hartford YMCA. The Greater Hartford YMCA is a non-profit organization that has been a part of its region since 1852. The YMCA helps promote our four core values: caring, honesty, respect, and responsibility. The Farmington Valley YMCA is located in Granby, CT and is the largest facility, serving over 9,000 members, in the Greater Hartford area.

Our Annual Campaign, previously known as the Strong Kids Campaign, is run every year. This campaign creates a fund that goes towards and creates scholarships for men, women, children, and families in our community. These scholarships cover everything from helping children afford camp, to supporting all of our athletic programs and swim programs, to helping a member of our community join the YMCA for a healthier lifestyle and more. The campaign's financial assistance helps support youth development, healthy living, and social responsibility. We at the Farmington Valley YMCA raised over $70,000 last year. With a goal of over $130,000 for 2014, the Farmington Valley YMCA welcomes any volunteer and or any donation to help our campaign.
